Willis Oliver

Willis “Billy” Lee Oliver, 89, of Hardyville, VA passed away on Saturday, Dec 15 at home surrounded by family. A devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Billy is survived by his wife of 69 years Bettie, brother, Tommy Oliver, four daughters, Brenda Swain, Beverley Lewis (Dail), Beth Taylor (Robert) and Billie Jo Brooks (Mark). Grandchildren, Sheila, Artie, Maggie, Payton, Amanda, Lindsey, Justin, Racheal, and 13 great grandchildren.

He was an electrical and general contractor in Richmond for 35 years prior to retiring to Deltaville, VA. Billy was always willing to lend a hand to his family and friends. Billy with his wife, Bettie built their family homes throughout the years together. He never met a stranger and loved spending time on the river.

The family will receive friends at Zoar Baptist in Deltaville, VA on Thursday, December 20 at 10 a.m. where his memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Hopeful Baptist in Montpelier, VA following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zoar Baptist Church, 17097 General Puller Hwy, Deltaville, VA 23043. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
